Equity & Action Hub
Explore. Connect. Participate. Advocate.
Ifetayo’s Equity & Action Hub connects our community with organizations and opportunities that help individuals and families access essential support, strengthen their economic well-being and build greater stability and self-determination. It’s also a place to discover ways to engage, organize, advocate, and take action on the issues that shape our communities.
From economic empowerment and family resources to civic engagement, community organizing and social justice initiatives, we believe everyone has a role to play in creating a more equitable world.
Community Resources
Build Up Justice
We represent low- and moderate-income individuals and families throughout New York City. Our clients live in rapidly-gentrifying neighborhoods where many residents and small business owners have been displaced or are facing displacement and harassment. Brooklyn A provides high-quality, low-barrier neighborhood-based legal services to those interested in developing and sustaining vibrant, healthy communities.
Malcolm X Grassroots Movement
An organization of Afrikans in America/New Afrikans whose mission is to defend the human rights of our people and promote self-determination in our community.
NHS Brooklyn
Services provided include first time homebuying counseling, foreclosure prevention services, tenant support services, property management, financial fitness, home repair grants and loans, reverse mortgage counseling, landlord training, and homeowner and renters' insurance counseling to name a few.
IMPACCT Brookyn
Advocates on behalf of homeowners in our communities. Our dedicated counselors can guide you through the complicated process of securing a mortgage modification, help you to apply for grant assistance, and if necessary, secure pro bono legal representation.
